May 5, 2012
Saturday, (Exact Time TBA)
(Entire Wall to Wall event begins at 11 am)
at Symphony Space, Peter Jay Sharp Theatre
Singing Stein! featuring Three Sisters Who Are Not Sisters and Capital Capitals will be performed by Encompass New Opera Theatre, along with many exciting performances focused on Stein and her contemporaries.

You’re sitting outside on a cobblestone street, a glass of wine perched on your café table. Salvador Dali and Man Ray walk by in heated discussion. Django Reinhardt’s band is tuning up a few doors down, and you can’t stop tapping your feet as the hot beats seep out into the warm Paris evening. Wafting down from 27 Rue de Fleurus is the scent of Alice’s famous fudge, as it’s another Saturday Salon at the Stein/Toklas household, and you’re invited. Re-live this magical time of art in life and life in art at our annual free marathon - Wall to Wall: Gertrude’s Paris. -Symphony Space
